And I have a confession to make- I never intended to be an an author, speaker, and podcaster. But I can tell you that God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
I can remember planning my wedding and honeymoon like it was just yesterday, and yet just yesterday I was picking up after two children and their messes, cooking dinner for four, taking the cat to the vet, supervising homework, and working myself.
There have been times in my journey as a Christian wife and mother that I have feel ill-equipped and underprepared for the life I once prayed for. If this describes you, I want you to know, it's not your fault. The millennial generation of mothers have been underserved when it comes to homemaking.
Homemaking has gotten a bad rap. Our generation was taught to go out there and become educated and land a great career and rise to professional success- and we did! But then family life took on a life of its own and we have been left to navigate cooking, cleaning, interior design and home decor, gardening, and home organization by ourselves. Well girls, no more! I'm here to start a revolution in Christian homes and hearts.
We have already proven that we are boss babes, bad mamajamas, and everything else. Now, let's focus on our homes, our dinner tables, our gardens, and our families so we can live in peace, beauty, and fulfillment at home and raise the next generation of grounded, well adjusted believers. I'm so glad you're were, welcome home!
